Search+ is the new search system of the HFT Library. Here you can search not only for books, eBooks or journal titles, but also for journal articles, book chapters and much more. Here is a short explainer video. Search+ is currently in the testing phase and will be further optimized in the coming months.
The HFT library provides its users with numerous e-books from all subject areas. E-books are accessible on all computers of the university network, for members of the university with few exceptions also from outside. Information on how to access an e-book can be found in the full display of a hit.
Library users who are not members of HFT can only access e-books through computers located in the library.
E-books can be found and accessed through Search+ or HFT catalog. If you only want to find e-books when searching, you can restrict the media type to "e-book" in the advanced search in the HFT catalog, and in Search+ you can select "eBooks" as the source type.
Important legal information: Use of the e-books is permitted for personal, scholarly use only. The owner of the university account from which the misuse originated is liable for misuse by third parties and possible claims for damages.
The library is the digital delivery point of the German Institute for Standardization (DIN). You can access all valid DIN standards, ISO standards and VDI guidelines in full text via the Nautos database.
