Manuel Weidner and Matthias Roth from the Surveying department carried out the surveying work for the new construction of the popular student meeting point ‘Block 4’.
Progress is being made on the way to the new Block 4 building. Temporary containers have been set up so that celebrations can continue during the construction phase, and the dismantling is almost complete.
Now the surveying department (after surveying for the site plan, which is the basis for the design planning) has transferred the planning data to the inner courtyard. Geometrically relevant building axes have been measured and marked, and a height marker has been attached. This allows the foundations to be built and the building modules to be constructed with dimensional accuracy in terms of position and height.
