The bachelor's degree program in Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality Engineering provides you with an in-depth understanding of the development of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, building on sound mathematical and technical foundations and soft skills. The focus is on the engineering of complex systems for AR and VR applications in companies with an industrial focus.
The extensive range of compulsory electives covers key application areas of augmented and virtual reality, including specialist topics. At HFT Stuttgart, you will gain intensive project experience through group, study and company projects, such as a supervised internship semester and your final thesis.

Prerequisites for admission to this degree course are
- Certificate of general higher education entrance qualification, subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences and
- HFT's own selection procedure

There are also contacts with the Australian research organization CSIRO, which is represented at numerous locations with different research focuses.
