In a cosy living room atmosphere, the start-ups of Startplan #4 presented their ideas at the end of 2022. They each had three minutes to convince an expert jury of their plans with initial market figures, pilot projects and websites. An exciting competition with a fireworks display of promising and innovative projects.
The jury was particularly enthusiastic about the "Procify" team. Their business idea uses image recognition and artificial intelligence to simplify the process of processing claims for private health insurance companies.
Promising ideas that are not put into practice – this is where most potential founders fail. To prevent exactly that, the HFT's own start-up center PLAN G offers the format STARTPLAN. Here, researchers and students receive practical start-up assistance for their ideas. In a nutshell, the promise is: "A start-up in eight weeks." This semester, too, many teams embarked on the joint journey. At the grand finale, the HFT START-UP NIGHT, interested parties were able to get an idea of the different start-up ideas.
After the pitches, three prizes were awarded: The jury prize was awarded to Procify. ReWear was awarded the Audience Prize and Blue Whale Finance won the Mentor:in prize. Following the pitch event, mulled wine was drunk, contacts were exchanged and ideas were discussed in PLAN G's SPACE.
