On April 1, 2025, leading minds from the construction and real estate industry gathered at HFT Stuttgart to meet a delegation of Israeli ConTech startups. The exclusive event, organized by GROUNDBREAKERS in collaboration with the Israeli Consulate General and ConTech Israel, offered exciting insights into innovative technologies for the construction sector.
From the construction site to the pitch event
Before the start-ups presented their innovative solutions, the delegation visited the Wolff & Müller Campus. Here, the participants exchanged views on future topics such as new work and venture partnering in the construction industry and familiarised themselves with the construction group's modern campus. They then went on to visit the Stuttgart 21 construction site - an example of a state-of-the-art construction project in Germany that was of great interest to the guests from Israel.
Seven start-ups, one vision: rethinking the future of construction
In the subsequent pitch event, seven Israeli start-ups presented their solutions for a more efficient, more digital and more sustainable construction industry:
Buildots - AI-supported 360° construction site analysis for optimised processes
OKIBO - Autonomous robots for painting and plastering
Skyline Cockpit - Remote control of cranes for greater safety
Constrol - BIM-based cost and quantity calculation
RESALT - Sustainable building materials from industrial salt waste
Beamware - AI-driven planning and compliance monitoring
Kamai - AI-supported construction project management
Industry insights and new networks
In addition to the startup pitches, representatives of leading companies and organisations from Stuttgart and the region actively participated in the exchange. These new contacts emphasise the relevance and growing interest in innovative solutions in the industry. The Israeli startups used their delegation trip to present their business models on the German market and make valuable contacts. The event provided an ideal platform for this and showed once again how important international cooperation is for progress in the construction industry.
