Integrated Study Project Urban Planning | Luca Barth, Jan Essling, David Gschwind, Joans Zyder | 2nd semester | winter semester 2023/24

The urban design CONNECT 714 in the Stuttgart district of Vaihingen comprises the development south-east of the railroad station. Open structures and striking buildings create public squares and open spaces for social interaction. Sustainable mobility is emphasised, with a focus on public transport connections. A large-scale park integrates ecological aspects and uses the potential of the Sindelbach stream for a variety of uses. The "Connect" approach creates a link between green space, people and activities in the neighborhood and beyond.

Student research project supervised by Prof. Gunther Laux, Dipl.-Ing. Sandra Patzelt, Dipl.-Ing. Malte Novak and Dipl.-Ing. Olaf Hildebrandt.
