In architecture, digital tools that have been available for two to three decades are predominantly used. Digital tools, which correspond to the use of "artificial intelligence" in text creation, for example, have so far only been used selectively or in niches in architecture.
We want to talk to guests from research and practice about how they see future developments. What is the current status? Who will develop future digital tools? What influence will they have on work in architecture? We want to talk about future opportunities, but also about the limits of the possibilities and reservations about developments in a digital future. Finally, there is the question of the future significance of people and their creative abilities to create something new. The question arises as to which skills need to be taught in future architectural training and where the traditional fields of work in architecture will be found.
