The Faculty of Architecture and Design offers students over 300 attractive studio spaces in Building 4. The floors are assigned to the individual study areas. In addition to independent work, design meetings and interim presentations also take place in the rooms. The studios are equipped with modern tables, chairs and pin boards. Cutting tables can be used for model building. Since the table arrangements are variable, they can be flexibly and individually adapted for self-study or presentation situations.

Every student can buy a mobile plastic box at the HFT Stuttgart in which materials and tools can be stored and which is kept on a hallway shelf. The box is secured with a U-lock.

A special highlight is a kitchen on each floor. In it, students can make tea and coffee, heat up food, meet for a break and exchange ideas. It is very popular as a central place of communication.
