A group of Canadian students visits HFT Stuttgart for one week as part of the Summer School organized by MoVe.
On Monday, May 2, 2022, the group of Canadian students was welcomed at the HFT Stuttgart by the Vice-Rector and Head of MoVe, Prof. Lutz Gaspers. The group of prospective civil engineers was accompanied by Dr. Trevor Hanson, who teaches and conducts research on transportation planning at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). This kicked off a week full of exciting activities and excursions on the topic of mobility. In addition to a guided tour of the Stuttgart21 construction site and a day trip to Lake Constance, a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum or to the Stuttgart TV Tower is of course a must. The program is supplemented by workshops and joint work phases with students from the HFT Stuttgart. "In addition to the opportunity to learn something about mobility in the other country, the Summer School also offers students the chance to make contacts," says Prof. Lutz Gaspers. During their stay, the students will work together on various tasks related to traffic planning and sustainable mobility.
We are looking forward to the week together with our guests and friends from Canada!
