The partnership with the University of New Brunswick (UNB) in Fredericton, Canada, has existed since 2013 and has now been further strengthened by the renewal of the cooperation agreement. In addition to the exchange semester options already practiced, the new agreement also provides for the possibility of short stays, for example summer schools or field schools.
Both universities have comparable bachelor's and master's degree programs in which students can have their credits recognized by the partner university. Interesting exchanges have already developed in recent years due to their common research interests. The goal for the coming years is to expand this to include research work. For students, researchers and teachers, the cooperation between the two universities is an excellent opportunity to work in an international context.
“Experiential opportunities like the Transportation Field School shape our graduates into engaged, critical thinkers with the skills to support communities, tackle grand challenges and reach their personal and professional goals. When we partner with institutions like HFT Stuttgart, we provide our students with a unique way of understanding while building connections.”
"Our goal is not only to deepen relationships and increase the frequency of exchanges, but also to establish joint cooperation projects."
