"With a great 14th place, the logistics students of the HFT were able to improve by two places again compared to the previous year, which shows how enormously committed and motivated the students are," said Prof. Dr. Andrea Lochmahr, under whose guidance the competition has been accompanied for years. More than 1,000 students from around 70 colleges/universities took part in the competition. In the transport and logistics industry, such an award attracts a great deal of attention.
The competition was initiated by Contargo, the Schunck Group and the Munich logistics magazine VerkehrsRundschau. In the period from March to July 2020, the students had to answer tricky questions from the fields of transport, warehousing, freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain management. In addition to great commitment, management content, environmental, climate and energy knowledge, IT competence, legal know-how, etc. were also in demand. The university rankings are based on the results of the ten best students at each university. "A very special success is the great individual placement of two of our students", Prof. Dr. Andrea Lochmahr is pleased to say: Mr. Valentin Eglof and Mr. Mario Haschke, both currently studying in the third semester of the Master's degree in Environmental Logistics, achieved a placement as "Top 50 Logistics Students 2020" and were included in the recruiting catalog and received a certificate as an award.
