The HFT Stuttgart was present with a project team of business psychologists.
On 14th and 15th September 2019, visitors of the "Vision Smart City" in Stuttgart were able to watch the fully electric flight of a Volocopter. They got a foretaste of how mobility of the future could look like. For the first time ever, an air taxi took off over a city in Europe. The multi-copter developed by a start-up from Bruchsal is intended to make the dream of "flying for everyone" come true - and at the same time they want to help to solve the mobility problem of constantly growing cities.
The "Vision Smart City" around the Mercedes-Benz Museum attracted over 20,000 visitors at the weekend. Besides the Volocopter flight, numerous technical innovations and sustainable traffic concepts for future mobility were presented.
The Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences was present on site with its business psychology course and the HFTmobil project team. The study course investigates the acceptance of air taxis in society.
