Since the foundation of our award-winning Master's programme in green logistics in the winter semester 2017/2018, the associated logistics laboratory has also been in place. Thanks to the constantly expanding inventory, the laboratory offers our students numerous opportunities to implement their ideas and knowledge in projects.
As one of the first projects, a small group of committed students programmed a VR application within the framework of a practical project. For this they used the existing HTC VR glasses incl. accessories and our large mobile touch screen.
The logistics laboratory also provides our students with an age simulation suit, a ProGlove picking glove and shelves with open fronted storage bins and loading, as well as various exo-skeletons for research purposes.
Test series with our drones promise lots of fun and fascination. With the DJI Phantom Pro 4 and the corresponding VR goggles, the most diverse applications of a camera drone in logistics can be explored. Those who prefer it big, use our custom-built HFT transport drone to test its suitability for everyday use.
According to our master's degree programme, our logistics laboratory stands for innovation and practical relevance. Our professors are therefore always on the lookout for new trends and developments in the field of logistics to further expand the laboratory.
